01

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how DEM Marketing (“DEM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through dem.marketing, inquiries, and our marketing-service relationships. We are based in the Hudson Valley, New York.

This policy concerns information we handle for our own business purposes. When we process information solely on a client’s instructions, the client’s privacy notice and our written agreement with that client govern that processing.

02

Information we collect

Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, optional telephone number, campaign or organization name, and information you include in your message.
  • Project and relationship information: briefs, approved materials, correspondence, instructions, account access you authorize, contracts, invoices, and payment-status records.
  • Website activity: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral information, interaction events, and form-submission activity collected by our hosting and tracking tools.
  • Consent and communication records: your contact preferences and the consent information you submit.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, voter files, or other sensitive personal information through the public contact form. If a project requires confidential material, arrange an appropriate transfer method with us first.

03

Where information comes from

We receive information from you, from the organization you represent, through your authorized accounts and integrations, and through website and service providers. We may also use publicly available business or organizational information relevant to an inquiry.

If you provide information about another person, you must have authority to share it with us for the intended purpose.

04

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; discuss, deliver, and support projects; communicate with clients; manage agreements and billing; understand website use; improve our services; prevent misuse; and meet legal obligations.

We may send relevant business email where permitted and honor opt-out requests. The contact-form checkbox authorizes us to respond using the information provided. It does not enroll you in a separate promotional text-message program.

05

Cookies, website tracking, and third-party resources

Our website uses external form and activity tracking connected to our customer-relationship management system. This can associate a form submission with website visits and referral information. Our hosting, security, communications, and other providers may also process technical information needed to deliver their services.

Cookies, scripts, local storage, and similar tools may be used for site operation, preferences, analytics, and attribution. Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out, those requirements apply to our use of nonessential technologies. You can manage browser cookie settings and contact us about available choices. Blocking tracking may affect some functions.

Pages may load fonts or other resources from third-party servers, which receive technical request information such as an IP address. We do not treat continued browsing alone as consent where affirmative consent is required.

06

How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information or provide it to outside organizations for their independent marketing. We may disclose information to service providers supporting hosting, security, CRM, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, and project delivery, for those purposes.

We may also disclose information at your direction, to professional advisers, as required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Telephone information and any separately collected SMS consent are not shared for third-party or affiliate marketing or promotional use. Providers may process information as necessary to deliver communications on our behalf. If applicable privacy law defines a particular activity as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, we will honor the choices that law requires.

07

Payment information

If you purchase services, payment providers may process transactions under their own terms and privacy practices. We use billing and transaction records to administer the relationship. Do not send full payment-card details through the contact form or ordinary email.

08

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide services, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention depends on the record, purpose, and applicable requirements; we delete or deidentify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful preservation needs and backup cycles.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No website, email system, or storage method is completely secure. We handle security incidents and any required notifications in accordance with applicable law.

09

Your choices and privacy requests

Email [email protected] to ask about your information, correct details, request deletion, or update communication preferences. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional access, portability, objection, restriction, or opt-out rights.

We may verify identity or authority and retain information where an applicable exception permits or requires it. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If a right to appeal applies, you may request review by replying to our decision.

You can opt out of promotional email through the message’s unsubscribe option or by contacting us. Necessary service communications may continue. Browser privacy signals will be honored where legally required.

10

Other websites, processing locations, and children

Third-party sites and services linked from our website follow their own privacy practices. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other locations; any legally required transfer protections apply.

Our public website is intended for adults acting for campaigns, organizations, or businesses. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

11

Policy updates

We may revise this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with an updated date and provide further notice or obtain consent when required. Changes do not remove rights that apply to information already collected.
